I've always liked drawing, but never saw it as an actual hobby. It wasn't until College that I decided to pick up the pencil once more and draw what's on my mind. The reason for this sudden change of heart was the discovery of the world of manga.
Being 19 years old, I finally discovered manga and anime... Quite late, I think, but where I live it's not commonly known and I only stumbled upon it by accident on the Internet. Mark Crilley got me started; I learned a lot from him and still am learning a lot from him. Aside from that I've let myself get inspired by many different styles of manga and I tend to read quite a bit every day.
I've never been to any drawing classes and although I don't think it's a necessity, I start to understand that controlling the techniques is an important aspect of drawing as well. I often find myself confused as to how to draw certain poses and little things, and then I see the need to learn this. That's why I'm looking into taking classes after school, but I haven't found anything fitting yet; I'll keep an eye out!
So here you are, watching me in my struggle to get better at drawing, doing what I love most! I hope you like it and feel free to comment or message me, always happy to chat ^^
